A perfectly engineered blend of several Arabicas grown in the heart of Brazils mountain region. At an altitude of around 1400m, the coffee cherries are slowly ripened amongst the shade of the surrounding tree's . This Decaffeinated Espresso variety is generous and round, full and balanced, enhanced with subtle toasted aromas.
Decaffeination Process The use of supercritical Co2 allows us to decaffeinate our beans 100% naturally. This method uses only water and carbon dioxide (Co2 that is naturally found in the air). To decaffeinate the coffee beans, we plunge them in water, followed by a burst of high pressure Co2. The Co2 naturally dissolves the caffeine present in the beans.
